The flag waves in front of the U.S. Capitol December 19, 2011 in Washington, DC.
Andrea Seabrook is a familiar voice to NPR listeners — she covered Congress for more than a decade — but earlier this summer she left NPR to start a new venture called Decode DC.
It's a podcast and blog that translates Washington speak to make it more accessible and interesting to the public. Andrea joins Madeleine to chat about her hopes for the new platform.
