Los Angeles Unified School District superintendent John Deasy has a modest goal: in four years, every student will be ready for college or the workforce.

Ed Leibowitz has written a profile of John Deasy for the current issue of Los Angeles Magazine. He joins the show to give us some insight into Deasy's life, work and his goal for L.A. schools.
