In this handout provided by NASA, Workers pose for a photograph on the wing of NASA's Shuttle Carrier Aircraft, or SCA, with the space shuttle Endeavour mated on top, at the NASA Kennedy Space Center, Shuttle Landing Facility on Sept. 18, 2012 in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

The space shuttle Endeavour, and the 747 that's carrying it, are en route to Los Angeles.

During a stop in Texas, traffic was brought completely to a standstill as people lined up to see the shuttle. KPCC reporter Corey Moore is following the story, and he joins the show to give us an update.

For those of you hoping to catch a glimpse of the shuttle, KPCC's Mae Ryan has a few photography tips to help you snap photos as it makes its landing.
