It’s day 84. That’s how long the state of California has been operating without a budget. But it seems like there’s little outrage among the public, even though the legislature has now set a record for budget procrastination.

Today, legislative leaders are in LA to meet Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has been stricken with a cold. Just don't hold your breath for a quick solution on the budget impasse. Steve Proffitt reports it could be until next year before a budget bill is finally signed.
