Thousands of water snakes are showing up in South Bay Lake Machado. The snakes, which can grow up to four feet long, are not poisonous, but bite and are eating fish, frogs, birds and other creatures which call the lake home. An estimated 3,000 of them are living in the lake and surrounding Harbor Regional Park.
