Eighty four percent of California voters surveyed know that Prop 19 is the marijuana initiative. But most probably don't know what the initiative will do. Do you?
The Regulate, Control and Tax Cannabis Act of 2010. It's better known as Prop 19, and probably the most controversial measure on the November ballot. And certainly the best known.
A Field poll last month showed more than 84 percent of voters surveyed identified Prop 19 as the marijuana initiative. Less clear, perhaps, is exactly what the initiative will do, and how it will do it. Steve Proffitt joins Madeleine with an explainer on Prop 19.
