According to a recent study, Americans wasted over forty-one billion pounds of food last year alone. Those scraps of food tossed into the garbage may seem harmless enough but wasted food could be leading to more green house gases in the atmosphere. Jonathan Bloom, the author of the book American Wasteland explains.
