House begins debate over health care repeal

The House begins debate today on Republicans' biggest campaign promise, repealing the new health care law. Called Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act, they've scheduled a vote for tomorrow. Until recently, it seemed the GOP's sole focus was repealing the new law, but now Republicans have a few proposals of their own for cutting costs and expanding insurance coverage. Martin Kady of Politico tells us what's on the table.

As Darrell Issa investigates the White House, a look at his past

Another agenda item for House Republicans: investigating alleged wrongdoing by the Obama Administration. California Republican Darryl Issa chairs the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. He represents southwest Riverside and north San Diego Counties. This week's New Yorker Magazine proflies Issa, who's had some past ethical and legal problems of his own. Ryan Lizza wrote the story.

What's the deal with the Yuan?

Business interests and many politicians in the US say China keeps the value of its currency artificially low, so it can flood world markets with cheap exports. Young Japanese men are not interested in sex

According to a new study put out by the Japan Family Planning Association, 36% of young men between the ages of 16 and 19 described themselves as "indifferent or averse" towards having sex. These young men have been dubbed "herbivores." Given Japan's rapidly ageing population, that could soon become a big problem. Here with more on this phenomenon is Roland Kelts, a Japanese American writer who lives and teaches in Tokyo.

Tennis are a married duo who combine 50's sock-hop music with 80's beach pop. Wanda Jackson's vintage sound is legit, she's been in music for 50 years. She's back with a new album of cover songs produced by Jack White.
