Obama criticized from both sides on Libya decision

President Obama returned from an historic tour of South America to criticism over the US led air strikes on Libya. Politicians on both sides of the aisle are expressing anger that the President failed to consult them before announcing the military action last Sunday. In an open letter to the President, House Speaker, John Boehner questioned the rationale of US involvement in the UN sanctioned action against Libya and called for accountability.Politicians and legal scholars are also questioning whether the US led attacks are constitutional. PPIC poll shows declining support for Brown's tax measure

Governor Jerry Brown is considering a plan that would let the public bypass the legislature entirely and get the tax extension on the ballot in November through the initiative process. But a new poll released Thursday by the Public Policy Institute of California shows that public support for a special election is dropping. Fugitive fertility doctor released from custody by Mexican authorities

An Irvine fertility doctor, Ricardo Asch, accused of taking eggs and embryos from patients and selling them to others without their consent in the 90s was released from custody by Mexican authorities this week. He had fled the country after the scandal erupted in 1995. We speak to Orange County Register reporter Teri Sforza.
