Financially troubled public television station KCET, which saw ratings plummet after severing ties with PBS earlier this year, is reportedly looking to sell its historic Sunset Boulevard studio to the Church of Scientology. The LA Times heard from KCET insiders close to the talks that the station is seeking to move to a smaller office space. Steve Proffitt shares some of the film history that was made at the site KCET now occupies. It's the oldest still-in-use studio in Hollywood.
