LAPD Chief Charlie Beck briefs the public on the search for suspects involved in the brutal beating of Bryan Stow at Dodgers stadium. A suspect was arrested May 22, 2011.
Early Sunday morning the Los Angeles Police Department arrested Giovanni Ramirez in connection with the near-fatal beating of Giants fan Bryan Stow at the opening game at Dodgers stadium March 31. Stow remains unconscious and in critical condition almost two months after the incident. L.A. Times reporter Joel Rubin joins Madeline with more on the investigation that led to the arrest.
Ramirez has documented gang associations and is a convicted felon. An apparent tip from his parole officer, who recognized Ramirez from the sketch, led police to arrest him.
Police are still seeking two suspects, another man involved in the beating and a woman seen driving the two suspects away from the scene.
