Firefighters battle a large fire that broke out in shops and residential properties in Croydon on August 9, 2011 in London, England. Police are trying to quell rioting that's engulfed England over the last three days. About 16,000 officers are patrolling the streets of London tonight. One man has died, more than 500 people have been arrested. The British Prime Minister, David Cameron, recalled Parliament from summer recess Tuesday and condemned what he called 'the sickening scenes of violence.'
