The L.A. Unified School district has dealt swiftly with the sexual abuse scandal that has rocked Miramonte Elementary in the past week. Supt. John Deasy has suspended the entire staff in an attempt to placate outraged parents and restore community confidence.

But not all the students and parents agree with the full-scale change. Madeleine speaks with KPCC's education reporter, Vanessa Romo, who spent much of yesterday gauging the reaction to the proposed plan.
