Unprecedented amounts of money are flowing into 2012 political races at all levels.
Newt Gingrich is in Pasadena, Calif. Monday morning, trying to raise money. He'll spend a few days in the Golden State fundraising. Gingrich's most prominent backer is Sheldon Adelson, the Las Vegas billionaire who is very close to the Israeli government.
Haim Saban is also a Jewish billionaire, but he's a big supporter of Democrats. He supported Hillary Clinton in the last election and gave $9.3 million to Democratic committees in 2002. He also has close ties to the Israeli government.
