A new report out today says U.S. employers added 209,000 jobs to the private sector last month. The news came just as Internet company Yahoo announced it was cutting 2,000 employees from its ranks. That's 14 percent of its workforce and the sixth round of mass layoffs in just four years.

Reporter Kara Swisher says expect more layoffs to come, as the company restructures its organization. But Swisher adds that the company is still a major player, and its email service and news sites are among the most popular on the Web.
