The "Hunger Games" prominently features archery throughout the movie.

Several recent movies prominently feature archery in their story lines. Katniss Everdeen's bow skills save her life in the "Hunger Games." In the Avengers movie out next month, superhero Hawkeye takes out bad guys with a high-tech bow. And in June, Pixar will release "Brave," which tells the story of a young princess who is an ace archer.

Jim MacQuarrie recently wrote an article for Wired reviewing bow techniques in all three movies mentioned. He joins the show to talk about the sudden bump in interest around archery.
