Donna Summer, the Queen of Disco, dies at age 63

Five-time Grammy award-winning singer Donna Summer has died, her family said on Thursday. She was 63.

LaDonna Adrian Gaines, known by her stage name Donna Summer, quickly rose through the ranks during the disco era of music with chart-topping singles like "Last Dance," "Hot Stuff," and "She Works Hard for the Money." Her recording career spanned four decades, with 2008's "Crayons" being her last recorded album.
