Last week, retired Lt. Commander Wesley A. Brown died at an assisted living center in Silver Spring, Maryland. He was 85.

Brown was the first black midshipman to graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1949. His youngest son Gary Brown joins the show to discuss his father's experiences in the Navy.
