AUSTIN, TX - MARCH 17: Musician Alex Ebert of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros (R) performs onstage at the BIG EASY EXPRESS Performance during the 2012 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival at Paramount Theatre on March 17, 2012 in Austin, Texas.

This week music critic Drew Tewksbury reviews the Christian revivalist sounds of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Their new album is called 'Here', which follows on the heels of their wildly successful, self-titled, 2009 album.

The Lijadu Sisters were Nigerian pop stars in the 1970s. The twin sisters were on the verge of breaking into the international music scene when one of them suffered a fall and injured her spine. It cut the duo's career short, but thanks to Knitting Factory Records, the music of the Lijadu sisters is being re-released for new audiences. The latest re-release is called 'Sunshine'.
