Author Andrew Blackwell has some strange ideas when it comes to what makes a good vacation. To get back to nature, he travelled to the radioactive zone that surrounds Chernobyl. For some sun and surf, he sailed out to the middle of the Pacific Ocean in search of plastic trash. And while in India, he went hiking along a river of raw sewage.
Andrew Blackwell chronicles all these trips in his new book, "Visit Sunny Chernobyl and Other Adventures in the World's Most Polluted Places." It's a 21st century travelogue that attempts to find beauty in some of the most polluted places on the planet.
