Wednesday may prove to be a monumental day for an estimated 1.2 million young undocumented immigrants. They'll be able to apply to live and work in the U.S. legally for at least the next two years.

At 28,251 feet, K2 is second to only Mount Everest as the tallest mountain in the world. Though 778 feet shorter than Everest, it's also much more dangerous, with a higher death rate than its taller counterpart. Four years ago, 11 climbers died during an attempt to scale the mountain, the deadliest recorded day in K2's history. The accident received widespread attention, but the extraordinary rescue that followed went unreported.
