Sklar bros on sports: A few firsts in the sports world
Randy and Jason Sklar, hosts of comedy and sports podcast "Sklarbro Country," and History Channel's, "United Stats of America," join the show to talk about the latest in the sports world.
Today, we pay tribute to "the King." Not Elvis, but the baseball's King Felix, who threw the first perfect game in Seattle Mariners history. Felix Hernandez's perfect game is already the third perfect game this season.
And, for the first time in history, the U.S. Men's Soccer Team defeated the Mexico's team, on Mexico's own home field.
Another doping scandal has embroiled baseball, as Melky Cabrera of the San Francisco Giants will be suspended for 50 games after testing positive for testosterone use. The Giants outfielder was having a renaissance year for the Giants, who now could have trouble holding off the Los Angeles Dodgers for the NL West lead.
And, in this week's edition of athletes behaving badly, Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson was arrested for "head-butting" his wife of six weeks. His wife soon after filed for divorce, and now the Miami Dolphins has released the wide receiver.
