JPL Marks 50th Anniversary of the First U.S. Mission Into Space
NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory on Wednesday honored the team that sent the first U.S. satellite into space 50 years ago. KPCC's Brooke Binkowski was there for the commemoration.
