University of Judaism in West LA.
A mikveh is where Jewish women go for sacred cleansing rituals, most commonly before a wedding.

It's the kind of place Angeleonos drive by a million times and never notice. Queena Kim goes to the Botanica to witness a sacred ceremony that involves the sacrifice of a hen and a sick man in New York.
