While other economic indicators, from manufacturing orders to purchases of durable goods, continue to show slow improvements, the unemployment rate jumped to 9.5% and workers’ wages dropped. While the stock market rallies and economists grow slightly more optimistic, what is the suffering American worker supposed to think?
