Villaraigosa, live from Copenhagen Climate Summit
The mayor of Los Angeles is going abroad to go green—he joins us from the Global Climate Summit in Copenhagen to talk about his vision for a greener LA. So far he’s signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and the Adlershof Technology Park to share best practices on the construction of clean technology clusters and to promote (green) economic growth in both cities. He joins Patt to talk about going green, starting with the city level, and then we move to the state level.

With all the problems LA faces (including in the LAUSD) could not "Attache Antonio" (ala Suitcase Sam Yorty)have sent a representative to Copenhagen or relied upon Schwarzenegger to represent the city and state? Or is his presence there critical to his gubenatorial aspirations, just like surreptitiously manipulating the Assembly Democrats to have his cousin made Speaker of the Assembly?

These guys LOVE free travel and hob-knobbing . Just look at stock ticker PEIX this is an established company that owns 3 plants to distill ethanol and they had to shut down 2 plants because they couldn't get a credit extension, this is IN CALIFORNIA so I am sorry it's all B.S. people lost "green" jobs at this established company, even after the "stimulus" how many hundreds of other examples like this exist? Hey it all sounds good in talk, rhetoric baby, save electricity, install "smart meters" but develop electric cars , go figure. Guillateie!!!!

One big difference between "Attache Antonio" and "Traveling Sam" Yorty -- Sam went out to drum up business for LA. Meijo Pendejo Antonio gives LA City contracts to companies in foreign nations.
Remember, fly fishing, the sport that makes one feel "practically" WASP, is a very expensive hobby.
