Sound Opinions, the world's only rock and roll talk show, is hosted by Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot, two of the finest and most-recognized music writers in the country. Jim and Greg are Chicago's top rock critics and top competitors – Jim at the Chicago Sun-Times and Greg at the Chicago Tribune. They are also both critically acclaimed authors, and their work has also appeared in a number of music magazines including Rolling Stone, Spin and Vibe.
Sound Opinions comes from WXRT-FM in Chicago, where Jim and Greg have co-hosted the program since 1999.
Sound Opinions will offer distinctive features and enhancements of the long-running program. Podcasting and live streaming are two of the immediate benefits, as well as broader access to live performances and interviews with fascinating artists from the top of the charts and the cutting edge of the underground.
