Highland Park's gentrification has hit full swing -- with a new yoga studio ... and restaurants with valet parking along York and Figueroa.

The mostly Latino, low-income neighborhood has been drawing middle-income white parents who want their kids to grow up in a culturally diverse neighborhood.

But KPCC's Deepa Fernandes reports their kids' new friendships can be complicated.
