Mexican marines and soldiers guard the surroundings of the morgue where the alleged corpse of Nazario Moreno aka 'El Chayo', the leader of 'Los Caballeros Templarios' drug cartel, remains in Apatzingan, Michoacan, Mexico on March 9, 2014. Mexican drug lord Nazario Moreno, who operated in the region of Michoacan (west), was killed Sunday morning in a confrontation in spite of being considered officially dead since 2010.
Mexican authorities say they have killed one of the country's most notorious drug lords, for the second time.
Nazario Moreno Gonzalez, known by his nicknames, "El Chayo" or "The Craziest One," was reportedly shot and killed by federal troops yesterday. Trouble is, he was also supposedly killed four years ago. Here to tell us more is Sylvia Longmire, author of "Cartel: The Coming Invasion of Mexico's Drug Wars."
