Supreme Court could make key rulings on unions, immigration in 2016

This year, the US Supreme Court is set to consider several high-profile issues such as abortion, affirmative action and prison sentencing.

Two cases could have a big impact here in California: one already on the docket, Friedrichs v. California Teachers Association, could affect unions and another that justices have yet to say they'll hear, a challenge to President Obama's executive action on immigration.
