FBI Papers
The FBI, working covertly with the CIA and then-Governor Ronald Reagan, spent years unlawfully trying to put down the voices and careers of students and
faculty deemed subversive at the University of California. After a 17-year legal challenge by San Francisco Chronicle reporter Seth Rosenfeld, the
agency finally released more than 200,000 pages of confidential records covering the 1940s to the 1970s. Rosenfeld joins Kitty for a discussion of his findings.

One Arab, One Jew, One Stage
After becoming dissatisfied with the limited acting roles he was being offered (think terrorist, taxi driver), Egyptian-born Ahmed Ahmed turned to stand-up
comedy. When he met comedian and Rabbi Bob Alper, the idea of an Arab & Jew comedy duo that could help diffuse tensions between their people through
their performances was born. In the past few months, the duo has grown from a novelty to something more weighty, especially as tensions continue to escalate
in the Middle East. Kitty talks to Alpert and Ahmed as they prepare for their final show in Southern California tonight at Temple Beth El in Aliso Viejo at 7:30pm.
