Prior to joining KPCC, Itxy interned at KCRW, NPR, and reported for several publications. She enjoys telling stories through writing, audio, film, and photography.

Itxy graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in art. As a native Angeleno, she loves public radio, movies, and music.
