Melissa Leu is a senior digital editor at KPCC, where she leads the digital, engagement and visual strategy for L.A.'s NPR affiliate.
Prior to that, she was a digital editor at the Los Angeles Times, where she developed new approaches for engaging audiences. She pioneered the company’s first Facebook Messenger bot and was part of the digital team that produced content during the Pulitzer-Prize winning coverage of the San Bernardino shooting. She has also worked at local TV-station ABC7 and as a reporter at The Arizona Republic. She’s a proud L.A. native and graduate of the University of Southern California.
