I have a weird fascination with Juggalos. I was introduced to them by my pal Luke Burbank (who will be a regular guest on the MBS) on his excellent podcast Too Beautiful to Live.
Based entirely on the aforementioned song, I believed that Juggalos were a peace-loving tribe, who gathered once a year in sylvan settings to bond over their outre and misunderstood status.
Sadly, I was mistaken.
At this year's Gathering of the Juggalos (a Woodstock for the beer and face-paint inclinded), rapper Method Man was brutally attacked (this, after the literal stoning of Tila Tequila) onstage.
Could The Gathering of the Juggalos become this generation's Altamont??
