Apparently they didn't take my suggestion to make Arnold Schwarzenegger boss at the MPAA

This just in from Mike Allen of POLITICO: former Senator Chris Dodd of Connecticut is "in negotiations" to become the next head of the Motion Picture Association of America.

Another former lawmaker Dan Glickman was the most recent MPAA president.  Before him, of course, it was the nearly four decade reign of Jack Valenti.  He also had DC credentials prior to his Hollywood days as an official in the Johnson White House.

But I still maintain, if you want someone with experience in both the political and entertainment worlds, Arnold Schwarzenegger is your man.
