"Film Week on AirTalk" reviews Christmas Day movies

This morning we provided a special edition of "Film Week on AirTalk" devoted to the movies released this coming Friday. Christmas Day has become one of the biggest box office days of year.

Our critics had differing opinions of "Sherlock Holmes," starring Robert Downey, Jr., and Michael Haneke's Cannes-winning "The White Ribbon." However, all three critics agreed on the comedy "It's Complicated," starring Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, and Steve Martin, and Terry Gilliam's "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus."

In case you missed it, we'll re-air the hour during our usual Friday 11:00 a.m. slot for "Film Week." It's also online here.

Tomorrow morning, we'll look at the Senate's historic vote on healthcare reform. The vote is scheduled for early morning, our time. If it passes, our entire first hour will be devoted to the bill.

During tomorrow's second hour, we'll talk about listeners' favorite Southland restaurants.
