Tuesday morning on "AirTalk," we'll talk about whether UCI's punishment of the student group is just. The university reportedly found that members of the MSU planned to disrupt the speaking engagement of Israeli ambassador to the U. S., Michael Oren. If true, that's a problem. However, what's an even bigger deal is that the students allegedly lied when they denied they'd planned the protest. Leaders of the MSU claimed that the eleven students who got up to disrupt the speech did so as individuals, not as an organized activity of the MSU.
What do you think about the year suspension and additional year of probation? Is it a fair penalty? The students are appealing the decision.
