Smoking pariahs

The number of Californians who smoke continues to decline, largely as a result of health concerns and the costs of cigarettes.  However, the larger force at work could be public shaming.

Smokers are now forced to find ever less convenient places to light up.  Many major hotel chains even ban smoking anywhere on their properties.

On Tuesday’s AirTalk, I’ll ask listeners who smoke to talk about the challenges they face, and the reasons they continue to smoke.  We’ll also look at the newest smoking cessation aids to see how they’re faring.

Also on Tuesday, for the first time since American kids have been tested on creativity, we’ve seen a decline.  Is it true that kids today are less creative than those of the past?  If so, why?
