It’s November of 2012, and people are still doing Carly Rae Jepsen “Call Me Maybe” videos. This is 10 months after Justin Bieber first tweeted about the song and helped make Jepsen a star. It debuted in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in March. We’ve already had one giant viral song since, PSY’s “Gangnam Style.”

But hey, it’s a good pop song! CBS posted the event on its YouTube page Thursday, apparently the brain child of lead actress Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny. She wrote on her Facebook page, “Yes, my dream to have a live, full out, dance routine for the world to see, has finally happened.” She offered her thanks to the cast and crew, and noted that her sister choreographed the routine.

To be fair, it was actually taped last month, according to Laughspin, so it’s mildly less out of date. It also looks like it successfully punked both the studio audience and producer Chuck Lorre, who wasn’t included in the dance number himself.

As co-star Mayim Bialik noted, this is an excerpt of the much longer dance, but here’s a taste. (My favorite part is to pick a cast member to watch and see their varying degree of joy/comfort with dancing.)
