Giovanni Ramirez, ex-suspect in Bryan Stow attack, released from jail after 10 months


After his arrest last May as the main suspect in the brutal beating of San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow outside Dodger Stadium on opening day, Giovanni Ramirez is out of jail.

He was released on parole March 17 from the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility in San Diego, ABC 7 is reporting

Ramirez was arrested following a citywide manhunt, but exonerated when Louie Sanchez and Marvin Norwood were arrested in connection with the attack. 

During the investigation, Ramirez, who maintained innocence in the Stow beating, was found in violation of previous parole stipulations when officers searching his home found a him to be in possession of a firearm.
