Minor earthquake shakes SoCal coast offshore

A minor earthquake has occurred off the Southern California coast near Los Angeles.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake occurred around 7:30 a.m. Saturday. It measured 3.4 and was located in the Santa Monica Bay, about 10 miles northwest of Palos Verdes Point.

No damage was reported.

Southern California has experienced a swarm of tremors over the past week.
