Hollywood's historic haunt, the Magic Castle, is headed for the next plane of supernatural celebrity.

THR reported Tuesday that Ted Field and Radar Pictures are developing a 20th Century Fox feature film centered around the 1909-built mystery mansion.

Situated on the north side of Franklin Avenue, the newly represented (and no longer on fire) Magic Castle is home to the Magician's Alliance Academy of Magical Arts, serving as a private club and performance space for magicians.

Says THR:

Magic Castles Inc., the holding company that controls the club's intellectual property, also has signed with CAA for representation. The talent agency will look for opportunities for the Magic Castle in areas including television, film, live events, video games, digital media and merchandising.

Any guesses on what tunes the ghostly Irma might play to accompany this news?
