Police say a workplace argument led to a man slashing and stabbing two coworkers with a knife in an industrial area near Los Angeles International Airport.

El Segundo police Lt. Ray Garcia says police were called at around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday to the workplace, where they were told suspect Nery K. Ramos had run away after stabbing the two men.

Garcia says when officers found Ramos a short time later he had changed shirts and was trying to flee the area.

Ramos was arrested without incident and is being held on $530,000 bail on suspicion of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

Both victims were taken to local hospitals where one was listed in serious condition.
