Stink bugs in Highland Park?

I was cooking dinner last night when I noticed this little critter hanging out on a chair in my dining room:

At first I was fascinated, then I was eager to escort it safely out of the house before a cat found it. After snapping those photos outside, I headed Internet-wards to figure out what exactly it was. It appears to be a brown marmorated stink bug: an invasive species that apparently hopped a produce crate from Asia in the late '90s. Really glad we didn't try to squish it now! Here, have a look:
