Pop songstress Alanis Morissette has written and recorded a song for Marianne Williamson's Congressional campaign.
Williamson, the noted self-help author, is running for the seat of longtime West L.A. Congressman Henry Waxman, who is retiring. Williamson is running without declaring a party affiliation.

According to Williamson's website, Morissette was at a recent "Love, Enlightenment and Politics" seminar when an audience member asked the singer if she would write a campaign song.
Morissette agreed and the result is a song titled "Today."
Hmmm...wonder if any of Williamson's opponents have music connections?
