About the sponsor:
Marine Mammal Care Center Los Angeles is a nonprofit hospital for seals and sea lions located in San Pedro near the ocean where we release healthy patients.  We provide year-round medical care, shelter and food for seals and sea lions rescued on 70 miles of L.A. coastline due to injury, illness or malnourishment.  For 25 years we’ve helped nearly 8,000 patients with the goal of returning them to the ocean.  Our visitors center tells our story and provides an opportunity to view patients up close, to donate, and to register to be a volunteer.

We were the main sponsor of the KPCC Open House in October 2017, at which nearly 2000 people had the chance to walk through our mobile visitors center.
