KPCC In Person’s popular community-driven series “Unheard L.A.” features Angelenos sharing first-person experiences of life in Southern California through spoken word, music, poetry, magic, and other forms.

We have partnered with LA County Library to bring “Unheard L.A.” producers and past participants to library locations across the region.

On July 25, our second salon brought us to Carson Library. People joined us as we shared some favorite stories from our first two seasons, discussed the “Unheard L.A.” submission and editing process, answered your questions, and listened to your ideas about what you’d share if selected for the upcoming show in Lawndale.

Featuring:

Glenn Fernandez
Hilary Hattenbach
Cara Lopez Lee
