To help customers embrace a water conservation approach, Pasadena Water & Power has created the new Watershed Wise Landscaping Workshop Series, which will begin on Saturday, September 8. The workshops are designed to guide residents through basic rain garden landscape designs and will cover topics such as plant choices, building healthy soil, irrigation retrofitting, and more. This introduction to Watershed Wise Landscaping workshop defines and explains the watershed wise approach as it relates to the future of residential landscaping in Southern California, and covers basic rain garden design concepts.
