Sunset Concerts at the Skirball
The twenty-third season of Sunset Concerts invites Angelenos to experience the Skirball's stunning courtyard filled with music and stories from near and far. Come together with family and friends to hear an eclectic lineup of acts that pay tribute to cultural traditions while creating new, vibrant sounds all their own.
See Spanglish folksinger Gaby Moreno (July 18), marimba supergroup Río Mira (July 25), the quintessential klezmer band The Klezmatics (August 1), New Orleans funk band Cha Wa (August 8), Mediterranean flamenco ensemble Tamar Ilana & Ventanas (August 15), and afro-futurist jazz musician Josef Leimberg (August 22).
Arrive early to dine, shop, and view the exhibitions! Beginning at 5:30 pm, check out the exhibitions Fearless Fashion: Rudi Gernreich and Black Is Beautiful: The Photography of Kwame Brathwaite, FREE and open until 10:00 pm.
