Breastfeeding Basics is a 3-hour class with instruction on breastfeeding techniques as well as encouragement and support for a woman’s choice to provide breast milk for her baby.
Topics include milk production, positioning and attachment techniques and prevention and relief of common problems. Establishing milk supply, providing breast milk for a baby who is not yet able to breastfeed, and pumping are reviewed.
Class Info and Registration:
Class is held on weeknights from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Father, partner, or support person is encouraged to attend classes are (per couple).
Reminder: Wear comfortable clothing, dress in layers (room temperature fluctuates), bring snacks, a drink, notebook and pen.
